Avineon names Gary Wilkison to lead Florida Operations

Alexandria, VA (January 29, 2003): Avineon, Inc., has named Gary Wilkison to lead its Clearwater, Florida operations. In this new role, Mr. Wilkison will be responsible for directing and overseeing day-to-day operations of the Florida office and delivering all of Avineon's Geospatial solutions. Mr. Wilkison will also continue in his role as Vice President, Commercial Business Development for Avineon.

At Avineon, Mr. Wilkison has played a critical role in launching new business initiatives that include acquisition of the Florida operations from AGRA Baymont, and securing Avineon's first long term contract with an overseas client. He has been instrumental in Avineon winning several major GIS projects.

With over twenty-three years of relevant experience, Mr. Wilkison previously served in senior management positions with various CAD and GIS data conversion companies. He has managed production facilities and coordinated projects between North American offices and offshore production facilities. Additionally, he has implemented large-scale AM/FM/GIS contracts for telecommunications and other utility companies in North America and internationally. His combined management experience and industry knowledge make him a valuable resource upon which Avineon's clients may rely in planning and implementing IT and conversion projects.
