Avineon Announces Corporate
Reorganization to Accommodate Growth, Enhance
Customer Service
Company
promotes Hee Sun Choung, Gary Wilkison to Senior
Vice Presidents to oversee new
divisions
Alexandria,
Va. - April 8, 2008 - Avineon, Inc.,
(www.avineon.com),
a successful provider of IT, geospatial,
engineering and program management services,
today announced it has restructured the company
to consist of two divisions, Federal Systems and
Commercial Systems, based on its concentration
of customers within those markets. The corporate
reorganization will enhance customer service,
accommodate company growth and create
efficiencies when planning and deploying
projects for each division. Avineon foresees
continued growth in both divisions and will
continue expanding its employee base as needed
to provide services and support to
customers.
As part of the reorganization,
Avineon has promoted Hee Sun Choung to Senior
Vice President, Federal Systems and Gary
Wilkison to Senior Vice President, Commercial
Systems. Choung will oversee the federal systems
division, including the civilian, defense and
homeland security systems support it provides
for Avineon’s federal customers. Wilkison will
be responsible for all geospatial, engineering
and commercial IT services Avineon provides its
commercial and state and local government
customers.

significant activity in contracts within the
Federal Systems division, recently winning
contracts with the U. S. Department of the
Treasury, U.S. Department of Defense and the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and
anticipates additional contract opportunities.
On the commercial side, growth potential remains
high as Avineon has been successful in landing
contracts with various utility companies and
local government agencies. In addition to the
120 employees in the United States, Avineon also
employs more than 600 people at its Avineon
Europe and Avineon India subsidiaries who serve
commercial and regional government customers
